Hi I'm Amy. I'm a newly stay at home mom to one adorable little boy. I live in the sunny state of Texas where we do not have seasons just a few cool days and the rest are warm.

I'm very outgoing. I can strike up a conversation with just about everyone.
I am a wanna be caffeine addict. I prefer water or smoothies
I am a recovering vegetarian. Until I was pregnant I had been a vegetarian for 7 years. Now I crave a burger daily.
My favorite color is teal.
I find motivation to workout when I buy new exercise clothes
I am a terrible swimmer. I will not be the one to teach my son to swim.
I swam almost everyday of my pregnancy.
My favorite foods are carbs, fats and ice cream
I love to take photos. I try to always have my camera within reach
A advocate for breastfeeding and babywearing.
My little man. You will rarely see him without a smile.
A group of UTSA students and I are putting on a fundraiser for the Battered Women & Children’s Shelter at MAIN EVENT WEST. I’m contacting you because I was hoping that you could feature our fundraiser on your blog. $15 out of every $30 wristband will go directly to the Family Violence Prevention Services: Battered Women & Children’s Shelter. For families of four or more, we are offering wristbands for $25. On a normal night, wristbands cost $35.

A lot of the time women that flee abusive partners bring abused children with them. The Battered Women & Children’s Shelter is important because it provides a safe place for both abused women and abused children. I hope that you’ll use your talent and outreach to promote such an important cause.
