Send lots of cookies

Today was an exhausting day.

I keep saying in my head "a terrible, horrible, no good, very bad day."  (I need to purchase  that book.)
I keep reminding myself that everyone has an off day. I wish someone would have told me before I had my son to:

learn to grocery shop as if you are being timed
learn to hold a million things in your hands while balancing a baby on your hip
always be stocked with lots of tissues
have a never ending supply of Girl Scout cookies
And learn to cook one handed.

I love the new challenges motherhood brings but I will admit my favorite time of day might just be bed time.

I would love to hear the things you wish you would do.

  1. I always go to the grocery store as if I'm being timed. Haha, If not i'll come out with carts full of cookies and what not. Your son is a little cutie! I hope your day gets better!

  2. I've given up on groceries with the kids - too stressful! Now one of us goes after the kids are in bed. ;)

My 'wish I could' would be to have an unending supply of patience. Holy crow - somedays it can be really hard not to lose my cool!

And I'm totally with you that sometimes bedtime is the best time. We all have those days where we just need to push the re-start button. ;)

  3. Three kids later and I can't even formulate a good response to this one. It took me some time to find my groove and with each child it had to be readjusted. But grocery shopping with any kids is off the plate. I was never able to accomplish anything!
